Day 6, + 10K = Writer's Block

So, it's day 6 of NaNoWriMo and that means the month is 1/5 of the way done!  That means you should be somewhere around 1/5 of the way done with your word count goal or 10,000 words in!
I hit this milestone sometime last night and still can't believe it.  10K in 5 days is more then I've ever written in such a small amount of time before.
Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ends because this week marks the beginning of week 2!  Week 2 is notorious  for being difficult.  You hit the the middle of the novel blues at the same time you've run out of the week 1 excitement.  This is the perfect recipe for writer's block.

Writer's Block
Makes enough block to make sure the writer doesn't win NaNoWriMo
1/2 Cup novel, approximately 15,000 to 30,000 words
1/5 Cup of the month of November
A scant 1/4 cup also blocked support group
2 Tablespoons Middle of the Novel Blues
1/2 Teaspoon Pure Uninspiration, sifted

Mix ingredients in lightly floured bowl, adding more words as needed.  Pour into greased baking sheet and bake in Write or Die, or Written? Kitten at 450* for 15 min. or until greenish gray.
Allow to cool completely before spreading on Laptop, Word Document, and Keyboard.
Can be stored until November 30th.

This is where I am, up against a wall searching for a chink.  I've been trying to push through this slump with, write or die, written? kitten, word wars, races, and tournaments with various groups of people.  It's helping, but I feel like everything I write in this way will need to be thrown out in the second draft.  Oh well.  Quantity, not quality right?
I'm just hoping I'll get to 15K by the 9th.
Tune in later to see, High Fantasy V. Epic Fantasy, What's the Difference?
See ya!

Comments are awesome, rudeness is not. 'Nough said.
