Playlist Fiction: It's Complicated

Hey, hey Guys!
Sorry for the lack of traditional posts lately.  But, those can get boring, so maybe these fun, interesting, 'I'm involved in cool internet things' posts are a good thing.
So, a few months ago, Stephanie Morrill, head of the Go Teen Writers community, spread the word about sign-up for a Street Team, a group a teens on the street spreading the word about a slew of books.  She passed around a sign-up sheet and I applied and immediately forgot about it.
That is, until about two weeks later when I got an e-mail from the awesome Laura L. Smith announcing I'd been accepted as a member of the PLAYLIST STREET TEAM.  I promptly went through a complicated initiation ceremony which involved computer graphics skill and reciting Hunger Games passages concerning Peeta and Gale from memory, learned the secret handshake, and joined a community of other Playlist members.
And we've been building up our awesomeness underground.  Until today.  Today we're going all offish.
I would like to introduce to you the first three Playlist titles.  These books will all be available on April 1st.
First up is It's Complicated by the previously mentioned, amazing, Laura L. Smith.

Here's a little bit about the author:
Laura L. Smith is the author of the new Status Updates series. Her first book in this series is It's Complicated. She loves God, her husband, her four children, writing and speaking. She writes real stories for real young women. Her previous books include Skinny, Hot, and Angry. She is a featured columnist at Choose Now Ministries  http://nicoleodell.com/laura-l-smith-on-true-beauty/ and speaks at schools, churches and campuses around the country. Smith lives in the college town of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. www.laurasmithauthor.com
And about the book:
There’s a reason Facebook has the relationship status, “It’s Complicated.” Follow four college roommates, Claire, Palmer, Hannah and Kat as they maneuver crushes, confusion, and the crisis when pushy boys go too far. Complicated as it is, these four friends will pull through, guided by the strength of their friendship and the power of God’s love.

I'll feature the other two books sometime over the next week.  As a teaser, their titles are Glass Girl and Between These Lines.

See you guys later this week.

    1. I love being part of the team. I couldn't ask for a better group of christian girls to hang with. The graphics skills involved FB profile and cover art making, along with some other stuff. :)

  4. When I practiced the handshake on my daughter she rolled her eyes and walked away. So I STILL don't have it down! Thanks for all you do, sweet Sarah Faulkner!!

  5. You forgot to mention how we asked team members to consume oodles of Junkfood during a Potter movie marathon! :)

So glad you're part of the team, Sarah. Gotta love that name…my fourth princess is "Sarah Priscilla!"
